Application
The voltage detector detects voltage conditions in medium voltage systems.
The detector must only be applied in medium voltage systems it is approved for. |

General Description
The voltage detector is constructed according to the regulations VDE 0681 part 1 and 4 (fig. 1). The detector consists of a housing (1) with a surface-mounted, fixed tube with a “detecting pip” (2).
The insulating part with the handling (3) can be screwed to the housing. For transport the hand tube can be seperated from the housing; then it can be attached to the housing again in the opposite direction (fig. 2).
The voltage detector UNL operates without any auxiliary power. However, it is equipped with a device for self-testing, which is operated by a piezoelectrical element. The “detecting pip” has a thread, where different mounts can be screwed on. |
