| Application
The short circuit indicator is used in distribution networks with a radial layout and one input. It is recommendable to use this indicator in case of sight disturbance, for the safety of labour or other reasons which makes it neccessary. The auxiliary voltage for the short circuit indicator type OK can be provided from the network which has to be monitored. |

| General Description The short circuit indicator type OK is available in two versions. Version L (2) It is possible to install the sensor on unscreened cables. The sensors and the reading instrument are connected with light mains. Version S (3) The sensors have to be mounted on screened cables only. The connection to the reading-instrument is done through cable. Both versions are available as surface-mounted (2,3) or panel-mounted (1) units. The reading instrument is indicating the short circuit and will reset the indication after a time delay. A manuel reset is possible at any time. Both indicators can be provided with a remote indication contact. |
