The short circuit and earth fault indicators are usually equipped with a relay with a potential-free closing contact. The contact of this short circuit / earth fault indicator is connected to the transmitter. Up to five short circuit or earth fault indicators can be connected to each transmitter.
The transmitter encorporates an encoder, which furnishes each message of a fault with a code. This message is then transmitted to the receiver,
will be decoded and displayed.
The indication can be performed via relay contacts of the transmitter, or it can be indicated as a fault message on a display screen.
The respective output consists of a relay contact, which closes its contact
in tripped condition.
For operating a GSM-module, a phone card (SIM-card) is used
(contract conditions: card without basic fee with a higher fee per minute)
Under bad transmission conditions of the sender with GSM-module,
the application of an external antenna becomes necessary (fig. 3).
The versions transmitter / receiver with GSM-module and transmitter/receiver with modem can be combined arbitrarily.
