Application
This capacitive voltage ledge is an element of the voltage detection system VDS. It is used in medium voltage switchgears.
The capacitive voltage ledge is designed to work in HR-Systems. It serves as a connection port (interface) for the voltage indicator, it compares the phases and performs other measurements.

General Description
The capacitive voltage ledge type KSO is the port of the voltage detection unit over the panel-mounted voltage indicator. It consists of a panel-mounted housing with test sockets. The dimensions of the housings are (W*H*D) 124*32*23 mm.
The sockets are designed according the VDE-instructions.
In case that the sockets are not required, they are protected against pollution through a turn lock. The measuring circuit component including the overvoltage arrester is installed in the housing.

The measuring circuit component must be adapted to each type of bushing or insulator.
