Application
The blinking lamps are used to indicate short circuits or earth faults
in outdoor areas.
They are installed at highly visible places outside of stations.
The blinking lamps work together only with the following instruments:
Type BL1 and BL2
short circuit indicator type OK, MF, GI, SF
earth fault indicator type EASI, SL
voltage indicator type SPA
Type BL-T
earth fault indicator type TERRA .

General
Description
The blinking lamp is incorporated in a housing made of policarbonat,
which is very solid.
The lighting angle of the LED is 35 Grad.
The blinking frequency of the LEDs is 1/sec.
The respective blinking lamp will be chosen according to the requested
visibility.
The blinking lamp is connected to the reading instrument via a
two-core-cable. The length of the cable is 3000 mm (standard - other
length is possible).
The reading instrument will be fixed at a wall with 2 pcs. of screws M4
(figure 2). |

Blinking
Lamp Type BL10
This
blinking lamp is equipped with one LED (diameter 10 mm) and has a
visibility range of ca. 30 m. The LED is directly supplied with power
from the reading instrument (application see above).
Blinking Lamp Type BL3.1 / BL3.2
This blinking lamp is equipped with 3 pcs. of LED (diameter 5 mm) and
has a visibility range of ca. 50 m. The three LEDs are supplied with
power via:
BL3.1 via the reading instrument
BL3.2 via an exchangeable lithium battery which is incorporated in the
blinking lamp. (application see above).
Blinking Lamp Type BL-T
This blinking lamp is equipped with 3 pcs. of LED (diameter 5 mm) and
has a visibility range of ca. 50 m. The three LEDs are supplied with
power via an exchangeable lithium battery which is incorporated in the
blinking lamp.
The blinking frequency is generated in the blinking lamp with the help
of electronics. (Application only possible with earth fault indicator
type TERRA.)
